How Does it Work?

Second, using your standard household hand drill (1200-1600 rpm) with attached 3M backing plate, sand away the hazed surface in a two-stage sanding process with the included P500 and P800 sanding pads. Third, refine and reduce remaining visible scratches using your drill/3M backing plate and the P3000 Trizact foam disc. Fourth, polish and buff lenses for clarity and shine using your drill/3M backing plate with orange foam compounding pad attached and a small amount of 3M headlight lens polish. Lastly, apply the protectant formula to seal out the elements and maintain crystal clarity. That's it - simple, fast and inexpensive. In addition to a standard household drill mentioned (1200-1600 rpm), you will also need a spray bottle and water used in the wet sanding and buffing processes.
